Area of Operation
The area of operation of the Organization shall be Mainland Tanzania.
- Enhance capacity building of communities living around the Udzungwa Mountains about environmental protection
- Promote the adoption of alternative to forest resources by local communities
- Promote Ecotourism in the national park and adjacent Nature Reserves
- Run the Udzungwa Ecological Monitoring Centre – UEMC (http://www.udzungwacentre.org/) whose mission is to promote and facilitate biological research and monitoring of the area to increase our understanding of the Udzungwa Mountains
- Assessing the status of biodiversity, both fauna and flora, and its changes in space and time
